Adelegbe Frowns over Owo attack, calls For Adequate security attention in the community, commends Aiyedatiwa’s prompt action
The federal lawmaker, representing Owo and Ose at the federal House of Representatives, Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe has frowned on the gruesome murder of Mr. Fisayo Oladipo, Mr. Rafiu Adedeji and some unidentified persons in Owo by unknown gunmen, calls for adequate security in Owo Kingdom and full investigation into the matter.
Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, MHR representing Owo/Ose Federal constituency in a statement released to Newsmen on Tuesday morning condemned in strong terms, the gruesome murder of a former APC youth leader in Owo local government area, Mr . Fisayo Oladipo along with Mr. Rafiu Ayodeji and some yet to be identified persons in Owo by unknown gunmen.
While expressing his deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident, Otunba Adelegbe calls for adequate security in Owo Kingdom and full investigation into the matter in order to serve justice appropriately to all the perpetrators
The lawmaker condoles with the families of the bereaved and the entire people of Owo, while thanking Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his timely intervention in the matter with a view to maintaining law and order in Owo Kingdom.
At a point like this, we must remain calm and allow peace to reign, any counter attack will continue to dent the image of Owo Kingdom, hence we must give room for peace to stand, shun violence and other related forms.
We must also adhere to the instructive of the state Government on the dust to dawn curfew, this is one of the best way to return calmness in the ancient town as the security officials will be on with their investigations, the lawmaker said
