ACTIVATING GOD’S PROMISES : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
Proverbs 16:7 KJV.
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him”.
☆☆☆ This is a very popular scripture and one of such that contains the promises of God.
☆☆☆ However, the problem with us, as believers, is that we often claim these promises without making efforts to fulfill the attached conditions.
☆☆☆ For example, in Philippians 4:19, the bible says👇
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.
☆☆☆ We claim this promise always, leaving behind the condition in verses 15-16 of the same chapter.
☆☆☆ The Philippians met the needs of Paul when many others abandoned him.
☆☆☆ Therefore, he prayed for only those who met his needs.
☆☆☆ For you to effectively claim this promise, you too must meet the need of somebody.
☆☆☆ Today, we sing this song below most often👇
Abraham blessings are mine,
Abraham blessings are mine,
I am blessed in the morning,
I am blessed in the evening,
Abraham blessings are mine.
☆☆☆ Beloved, Abraham met a condition given by God.
☆☆☆ He obeyed God fully and God blessed him fully. Read Genesis 22:16-17.
☆☆☆ In Malachi 3:8-10, God commanded that we should bring all the tithes of our income to his store house.
☆☆☆ Most times, we treat God as if he doesn’t know mathematics.
☆☆☆ We give him fractions as complete tithe and tomorrow we still sing “Abraham blessings are mine…”.
☆☆☆ Back to our main text for today, the bible says👇
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him” – Proverbs 16:7.
☆☆☆ If we read this same verse the other way round, we may get something like this👇
▪▪▪When a man’s ways do not please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be against him.
☆☆☆ Beloved, if you suddenly discover that people are always against you for no just cause, whatever you do and you believe you have done the right thing; you have put in your best but instead of being commended, you are being accused of wrong doing; it is likely your ways do not please God.
☆☆☆ Nobody can be against God and survive it.
☆☆☆ And if God is against an individual, then that man or woman is finished.
☆☆☆ This is why the prayer for mercy is very essential in our Christian race.
*CAN YOU PLEASE PRAY THESE FEW PRAYERS* 👇
1. Oh God my father, let my ways please you Lord.
2. My father, my father, don’t allow me to make myself your enemy.
3. Oh God my peace, please don’t be against me Lord.
4. Father, please give me the grace to make the necessary restitution that my life requires to move forward.
5. I refuse to become the enemy of myself.
6. I receive divine grace to meet those conditions that will activate my blessings.
7. Let your mercy speak for me Lord.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*👇
I pray, may you not become an enemy of God in Jesus name.
Receive abundant grace to always do those things that are pleasing to God.
I pray for somebody out there, you will not become the enemy of yourself in Jesus name.
The mercy of Jehovah God shall restore you in every area you have missed it in life.
I command the spirit of hatred, without any just cause, to depart from your life now in Jesus name.
In the name of Jesus, I rebuke the spirit of error, at the point of success; in the life of someone out there.
May you not be unfortunate as you journey through life in Jesus name.
The Lord will right your wrongs and set your feet on the path of destiny fulfillment in Jesus name.
