The ENDSARS Protest memorial demonstration in Abuja is said to a flop as those mobilized from different campuses, neighbouring towns to Abuja municipal made a die minute U-turn.
A close ally to Omoyele Sowore and Deji Adeyanju who are the front organizers of the protest said that they were so disappointed when calls started coming in from different mobilization points noting that they are backing out from the protest after collecting mobilization fees a night ago.
Another anti- protest group comprising of notable youth leaders is said to have made a press release last night instructing youth and student leaderships to steer clear from the protest in Abuja.
Our visit to the Unity fountain Abuja, the protest venue this morning where Sowore and Deji were seen is quite scanty as not up to 35 persons were on ground.
As at the time of filing this report, Abuja is calm and people going about their normal businesses.
