Abdulmumuni Abiola vows never to forgive Kola over withheld £650,000 inheritance
Abdulmumuni Abiola, son of the late MKO Abiola, has stated he will never forgive his older brother, Kola, whom he accuses of withholding their father’s inheritance, despite blood tests confirming the family members entitled to it. According to Abdulmumuni, their father left £650,000 to his first four wives, but Kola has allegedly refused to distribute the funds.
Speaking on the ‘Mic On Podcast’ with Seun Okinbaloye, Abdulmumuni explained, “We conducted blood tests to establish the qualifying children. The will clearly allocates shares to each wife. My mother, Kudirat Olayinka Abiola, was entitled to £150,000, but Kola claims British law prevents him from releasing it since she passed before our father.”
He also disclosed that Kola had sold their mother’s UK apartment without informing his siblings, adding, “It’s clear there was an attempt to marginalize our side of the family financially, and because of this, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him.
