2023 : AGBAKA AFOLABI OBASUYI engage Akure Apc Elders Forum for his Senatorial ambition,Seek for supports, state reasons why he is the best among other Party Aspirants
In continuation of his Consultations for the Ondo central Senatorial district seat the Agbaka of Alagbaka, Agbaka Obasuyi today meet with the Apc Elders Forum in Akure
In his brief words of courage and mind of solicition of the elders Supports, according to him, I am glad to be in this gathering of elders, I am happy to meet elders and party leaders, God has shown me that I will one day be in a gathering like this and am happy seeing this coming to reality, i know many of you and I want to know you More, I want to close friend with everyone sitted here.
Agbaka explained that he is a child to the elders and really want their Supports, according to him, I am your child, my mother is from adesida Family and my father is from Elemo family and am also the head of Alagbaka Community at present.
He further explained that there is a big problem in the socio Political and economic development of Akure kingdom and he has the quick remedy to it all, according to him, we do have a problem in this town and there is need for us to find a lasting solution, everywhere I have been to on man race I have been seeing God faithfulness which placed me high to put an end to the problem we are facing in Akure if given the nods.
Akure been the capital of Ondo state, we have the largest voting rights, strengths and capacity,but ever since Akure south has not been a governor, minister, we hardly get federal appointments, so why must we keep dwelling at this relegated level when we have son’s who can change the situation.
Indigenes from ondo, Idanre,Akure north have been a Senator but not for once in Akure, if u see ado ekiti of today it’s more developed than Akure only because their son’s and daughters are making wave in the Political terrain,I have the big right to change the narrative of the Akure position, I have been in army, am graduate of uniben, Ife, foreign university and currently in open university all for the sake of my people, am well equipped with knowledge from both local and international universities, therefore I have full capacity to push up the development of Akure kingdom.
Talking about exposure, i have been to 15 different countries, I can speak 5 different languages fluently, so I have what it takes to bring international investors to this Senatorial district within few years from now if given the necessary Supports.
Legislation is the ability to bring national influence to the local and door step of the people, Democracy is a borrow stystem of Government for the people by the people, in the western world everyone knows democracy is a way of Life, I have noticed oftenly that we have problem in Akure South, and we are ready to effect desired change, I run a Construction company, water factory and charity abroad so on, I am fine and richly blessed by God but we need to fight for our people who are suffering, Have achieved a whole lot but there is need for us to correct the wrongs in Akure.
My first attempt was in 2007,second in 2011 I ran under the labour Party lost again, every agreement was jettisoned after the emergence of the then winner, 2015 I don’t contest not that I give up but to concentrate more on myself,but in 2019 I came out again but lost as a result of another agreement with the governor, therefore I have learn to understand that life is about time, for all the expenses no compensation from anywhere, I ought to have ditch off but I am a goal getter who will not quit until I win, This time around we have come again and it’s no retreet no surrender.
Many of our youths and women are something else, no women leader or ward leader that are making it big today, because many of our people have been relegated Politically, we are at the back door in Akure , therefore this is the best time to get it right.
Why can’t we have company such as cabrew and make beverages in Idanre,why can’t we have Akure testile mill, I have consultant in Netherlands, canada and all over. the world who can drive in investors here in Akure, why can’t we have breweries in Akure? We need industrial development and Political growth.
Every local government deserve to have an industry, hospital,markets as it is in The western world, like we see in Lagos, in their wisdom some leaders of Lagos went to neitherlands ,if you see economic policy of Lagos it’s just more like of that of neitherlands, we can replicate this in Akure and Ondo central Senatorial district
We are not suppose to fail again, we need new arrangements, I can’t go to Abuja for four years and return with F9 just like the trends we are seeing it’s impossible, therefore I want to appeal to all leaders sitted here, this is the time to rise and let’s make this good plans, vision and mission come reality.
I am ready to work hand in hands with councilors and council chairman to know what problem we are faced by the people then take it all to the Senate for proper remedy.
How long do we continue with the empowerment of kekenapep,okada and all manners , we need better and capable hands to ameleurate the lingering problem of our kingdom.

According to him we have about four Akure Indigenes jostling for the seat and almost all of you are four Same ward but mentioned an issue that if elected, you will ditch out contracts which profits will be arrange to care for the party leaders, we are with you he concluded
