Ex-Lawmaker, Babatunde Kolawole Condoles Gbadamosi Family, Visit Monarch, APC Leaders Ahead of November Election
Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, the former Federal Legislator and the immediate past Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Rural and Community Development today paid a condolence visit to the family of late Joshua Gbadamosi who was gruesomely murdered by Fulani herdsmen earlier this week in Ifira-Akoko. During the visit, Hon. Kolawole expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a “gruesome and unfortunate” event. He offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, emphasizing that the government is committed to ensuring that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to justice.
Hon. Kolawole assured the community that the government will take necessary actions to flush out criminal elements from the forests to secure the environment for farming and ensure the safety of the community. He further promised to provide support to the family whenever the need arises, highlighting his commitment to the well-being and security of his constituents.
Following the condolence visit, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde paid a courtesy visit to Oba Akinyele Adesunloye, the Olisua of Isua-Akoko to felicitate the Kabiyesi on the 10th Isua Day celebration, scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024. During the visit, Hon. Kolawole while congratulating Oba Adesunloye on this milestone acknowledged the role of traditional leaders in fostering unity and development within the community. He commended the first-class monarch for his steadfast leadership and wished him and the entire community a successful and memorable celebration.
Hon. Kolawole Babatunde also visited Mr. Adeboye Johnson (aka Laurel), an educationist and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chief Bailey Arohunmolase, a former Local Government Chairman both in Epinmi-Akoko.
The unscheduled visit was to provide the necessary moral support to the party leaders in preparation for the upcoming November 16 Governorship Elections.
During the meeting, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde discussed strategies and plans for the election campaign, emphasizing the importance of unity and teamwork among the party members. He encouraged the leaders to remain focused and dedicated to ensuring a successful outcome in the forthcoming governorship elections.
The visit was part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s structure and mobilize support at the grassroots level.
