Campaign Poster featuring Saraki and Peter Obi for 2027 Presidential race energes
As Nigeria’s political landscape heats up in anticipation of the 2027 elections, a campaign poster featuring Bukola Saraki as a presidential candidate has emerged online.
The poster presents Saraki as the presidential nominee with Peter Obi as his running mate, accompanied by the slogan: “Let’s restore our country back, come 2027.”
Saraki, the former Senate President and a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Obi, who is currently affiliated with the Labour Party (LP), had previously been in the PDP before Obi’s defection to LP prior to the 2023 presidential race.
Despite the appearance of the poster, neither Saraki nor Obi has officially announced their candidacies for the 2027 presidential election.
