Kano APC Has Called For My Arrest Over Corruption Allegations Against Former Commissioner, US-born Nigerian Filmmaker Cries Out
In the video, he said the APC in Kano has called for his arrest for “inciting violence”.
AUS-born Kano indigene who is journalist and filmmaker, Bello Galadanchi, has raised an alarm, accusing the Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of calling for his arrest for accusing a former Commissioner of Local Government Affairs in the state, Murtala Sule Garo, of corruption.
Galadanchi in a video posted on his X account in which Hausa language, said that rather than coming out clean to call for his arrest for exposing the former commissioner’s alleged corruption, the APC is calling for his arrest for inciting violence.
“Kano APC is calling for my arrest,” he wrote.
In the video, he said the APC in Kano has called for his arrest for “inciting violence”.
He said, “But what did APC do in Kano? Stealing! High level theft!
“Here is an example: This is APC Kano’s deputy governorship candidate, Murtala Sule Garo. He was the commissioner of local governments (under former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje).
“On another note, this APC leader owns two companies. One opened with his name as MJ Multipurpose Services and another with his relative’s name called AU Future Investment limited.
“Murtala/APC Kano made it mandatory for every local government to pay more than N5 million monthly.
“This fund was to be used to buy diesel for Kano’s water treatment plants. N5 million X 44 local governments = N228 million monthly. So, does he purchase the oil?
“Remember MJ and AU? They will write to the Ministry of Local Governments, requesting payments of funds for delivering diesel.
“Murtala of the APC used to write to APC requesting funds for delivery of ‘diesel’. He was paying himself.
“[He] sent himself money from the government coffers to his bank accounts for MJ and AU.
“Local government commissioner collected N5 million monthly from 44 local governments [and] this money was then deposited to his two companies, MJ and AU.
“He then uses it to serve the people? No, AU and MJ deposited the money to Muftahu Sani and NNM Fagge. These are bureau de change companies in Wapa, Kano.
“They will then change the money to Riyal, and wire it to a company called Naxt Vision in Mekkah.
“Isn’t Makkah a holy and spiritual place? But APC Kano is turning this sacred city into a place to take our stolen money.
“Naxt Vision is a real estate company. Little by little to avoid suspicion, Murtala/APC Kano wired N10 billion to Naxt Vision.
“How much is 10,000,000,000? 1 billion is 1000 million. So 10 billion is 10x a thousand million. N10 billion will buy 133,000 bags of rice. It can build 50 primary schools at N200 million per school.
“This money will pay hospital bills for 500,000 people at N20,000 per person.”
“So this is just one out of many commissioners of APC Kano.
“Don’t forget their dollar stashing bandit and his beard-painting deputy. So, are you still calling for my arrest?” he added.
