Theres attempt to destabilise President Tinubu’s Govt – Senator gives shocking details
Senator Shehu Sani has alleged that the display of Russian flags by protesters in Kano, Zamfara, and other northern states is part of a plot to destabilise President Bola Tinubu’s government.
He claimed that money and flags were distributed to youths a day before the protests, indicating that the demonstrations are not solely about government policies but an orchestrated attempt to incite unrest.
Sani expressed concern that the protests, which have turned violent, lack leadership and are being manipulated to create chaos and potential regime change.
He said, “A day before the last protest, money was shared to the youths, and Russian flags were also shared.
“That shows that the whole intent of the protest is not simply about the policies and programmes of the government.
“There was an attempt to create an atmosphere where there would be an overthrow of the government.
“When you have this kind of situation, you will see that someone is writing a script for anarchy, lawlessness, and disorder. It is incumbent for someone like us to speak.”
