Nigeria Youths blast Speaker Abbas for selecting only Groups loyal to APC for Dialogue
There has been uproar within the Nigeria youthdom since yesterday when the office of the speaker of the Federal house of representatives released a poster of an engagement meeting with just few select youth groups loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress party to attend.
Leaders of Numerous Groups that have soft spots for government whose names were not contained in the scheduled Dialogue list are said to be holding a meeting today to decide on whether to join protesters to demand for the resignation of Speaker Tajudeen Abbas or start their own protest with calling out the entire leadership of National Assembly.
The said poster has further caused more harm than good as perceived internal sabotage is likely to take a center stage.
Worrisome as it may be, major youth stakeholders have noted that the idea of assembling youth leaders of various groups for a national dialogue was a brainchild of a particular youth organisation of national interest which was not even captured in the said invite list released by the House of Representatives.
