Jubilation is said to know no bound in Imo state as former State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Pioneer Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state; Prince Marshal Okaforanyanwu emerged Imo state Chairman of the third-Force; New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Hours after his emergence, report from Imo state confirms the defection of 9 former local government executive chairmen, 12 former local government deputy chairmen, 7 former commissioners, 66 former councillors, 14 former local government party chairmen, 5 former state assembly members and 6 serving local government party chairmen to the third-force New Nigeria Peoples Party in Imo state.
Two former speakers of the Imo state house of Assembly and 4 current serving state assembly members are said to have pitched relative tent with the third force in Imo state.
Some of the angry members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who are dissatisfied with the happenings in the Party especially the national convention are said to have extended their hands of fellowship to the 3rd force.
