■■■ This bible verse can best be understood as you read the story below. Please take time to read, you will really be blessed 👇

■■■ One Sunday morning, a wealthy man was taking a rest at his balcony with a cup of coffee in his hand.
Suddenly, the activities of a little ant caught his attention.

The ant was going from one side of the balcony to the other, carrying a big leaf several times, more than its size.
The man watched this scene for more than one hour.
He saw that the ant faced many obstacles during its journey.
But each time, during such impediments, the ant would pause, take a diversion and then continued its journey towards its destination.

At a point, this tiny creature came across a crack in the floor.
It paused again for a little while, analyzed and then laid the huge leaf over the crack, walked over the leaf, picked the leaf on the other side, then continued its journey.
This man was captivated by the cleverness of this little ant, one of God’s tiniest creatures.

The incident left the rich man in awe and forced him to contemplate over the miracle of creature.
It showed the greatness of the Creator.
Right before the man’s eyes, there was this tiny creature of God, lacking in size, yet equipped with brain to analyze, contemplate, reason, explore, discover and overcome its challenges.

Along with all these capabilities, the man also noticed that this tiny creature shared some human shortcomings.
The man saw about one hour later that the creature had reached its destination.
It was a tiny hole in the floor, which was the entrance to its underground dwelling.
It was at this point that the ant’s shortcomings which it shared with man was revealed.

▪How could the ant carry into the tiny hole, the large leaf that it had managed and laboured to carefully bring to its destination?
▪It simply couldn’t go in with it.
▪So the tiny creature, after all the painstaking, hard work and exercising great skills to overcome all the difficulties on the way; just left behind the large leaf and went home empty hand.
▪The ant had not thought about the end before it began its challenging journey and in the end, the large leaf was nothing more than a burden to it.
The creature had no option but to leave it behind to reach its destination.

▪The bible says 👇

*”For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out” – 1 Timothy 6:7.*

▪All that the little ant laboured for and struggled to carry could not go in with it.
▪If the little ant had not let go off the leaf, it would have been impossible for it to enter into that tiny hole.

Mark 8:36 says 👇

*For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?*

▪The rich man learnt a great lesson that day 👇
▪Isn’t that the truth about our own lives?
▪We worry about our family.
▪We worry about our job.
▪We worry about how to earn money.
▪We worry about where we should live: A 5 bedroom or a 6 bedroom house.
▪ We worry about the kind of vehicle to buy: A Mercedes Benz or a Honda or a BMW or a Porsche.
▪What kind of dress to wear and all sorts of things.

▪Only for man to abandon all these things when he gets to the entrance of his destination.

■ Beloved, there are two destinations for every man: heaven or hell.

The entrance to hell is the grave 👇

*”And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit” – Revelation 9:2.*

While the entrance to heaven is Jesus 👇

*”Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” – John 14:6.*

Many people don’t realize that as we journey through life, all those things we struggle to get are just mere burdens.
Many people are carrying those burdens with uttermost care and fear of losing them.
They will however find out at the end, that these burdens are useless and we cannot carry them with us.
The only treasure that lasts forever, is our relationship with God, the creator.

■ Beloved, faithfully ask and answer these 3 questions:

1. Am I serving God faithfully with my life?
2. How am I preparing for my final destination?
3. Where do I spend eternity?

*PRAYERS* 👇
1. Oh God my father, please guide my footsteps as I journey through this world in Jesus name.
2. Father, please remove from me, anything that can hinder me from making heaven.
3. Please Lord, don’t allow me to depart this world without making positive impacts.
■ In Matthew 26:24: the bible says, “the son of man goeth as it is written of him…”.
4. My father, my father, let my life play out the divine script written concerning me in Jesus name.
5. Oh God my creator, don’t allow my activities here on earth to close the gate of heaven against me in Jesus name.
6. Father, offload from my life every excessive and unnecessary luggage that has become a burden to my life.
7. Father, give me the grace to consciously prepare for my final destination in heaven.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS* 👇
