A former senatorial aspirant of All Progressive Congress for the Ondo Central Senatorial district in the 2023 general election, Dr Adeniran Oyebade has concluded plans to join the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo state ahead of the Governorship election.

Dr Oyebade in a statement released to newsmen described the harsh treatment and unfavorable political will in the ruling party, All progressive Congress as a major factor leading to his new political development.

According to Dr Adeniran Oyebade, “I came down all the way from United State of America where I work in the White House’s Office of Management & Budgets of the Executive Office of the President of the United States to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build and prepare for 2023 general election, as a matter of fact I was part of the presidential campaign committee of the president, Oyebade said”.

He stated further that he branded an SUV in the name of the president, holds and sponsored meetings across my local Government, senatorial district and Ondo state all to support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to be president.

He further reveal the game that was played in the Ondo Central Senatorial District primary election, according to him, with the number of contestants in the primary election, suddenly a candidate was picked above others, irregularities is always at its peak in APC and I have decided to move on in my political career, Dr Oyebade said.

Also, in the build up to the recent Ondo APC primary election, I decided to support Chief Olusola Oke to be the candidate of APC, I was the senatorial district campaign director for Olusola Oke, during the APC primary in Ondo State, the party irregularities played it’s roles again as it use to be in the party.

There was no primary election at all, but the party leadership suddenly announced a winner in person of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa. They sat at a hotel in Akure and wrote all the results in favor of their choice candidate. I cannot pitch my integrity tent with such people. My major problems are not with the party itself but some people in the party.

After the primary election, Chief Olusola Oke lost the election, and suddenly we were expecting Chief Olusola Oke to address us as political follower, but nothing came up, some weeks ago, Chief Olusola Oke decided to collapse his structure for Governor Aiyedatiwa, based on my love and respect for Chief Olusola Oke, I decided to join the team, but to my surprise, I was bullied and embarrassed by Chief Olusola Oke and his boys, they called me serious names such as betrayal and etcetera.

Though, I have some military men in my entourage who can easily retaliate to those insults played on my personality, but I decided to be quiet, my phone was spoilt, my cap was removed and I was disgrace by my so called political leader who I spent my personal resources for his project and I even wrote a letter to the presidency on behalf of Chief Olusola Oke after the primary election, Dr Oyebade said.

At this very point, having considered all the wasted efforts both with my hard earned resources in millions, my time and passion committed into APC without meaningful harvest, I have decided to move on in my political journey.

Dr Oyebade however announced to all his political supporters on his next political movement into the People’s Democratic Party to support the party candidate, Hon Agboola Ajayi to emerge as the next Governor of Ondo state.

I have moved on with my political career, Politics for me is not a do or die affairs and no one can buy my conscience, Dr Adeniran Oyebade said.
