Court Discharge, Acquits Agba Jalingo In Criminal Defamation Case Instigated By Ayade’s In-Law

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory and presided over by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik has discharged and acquitted CrossRiverWatch publisher, Citizen Agba Jalingo in a suit instigated by Mrs. Alami Ayade, sister in-law to former Cross River Governor, Senator Ben Ayade.

Mrs. Ayade had petitioned the Police who arrested Mr. Jalingo and charged him to Court using the Cybercrimes act over a post on Facebook bordering on examination malpractice at the Abuja campus of the Nigerian Law School which they said caused her “ill will” and “insult.”
