Just In : Gunmen on Bike kill woman in Ekiti

A middle aged woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.

The incident happened at a junction close to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti Continuing Education Center, off, NTA road, Ado Ekiti.
The incident which involved a fifty year old woman, occurred at about a few minutes to seven in the morning.
According to witnesses, the gunmen came on a bike and attempted to collect the bag of the woman who was standing by the road.
It was gathered that in the process of trying to resist the attempt to take her bag, the dare devil criminals shot at her and rode off.
