AMB. TIMOTHY NWACHUKWU PANEGERISE EBONYI GOVERNOR OVER EB- CSDA PROJECT IN HIS COMMUNITY.
Amb. Timothy Nwachukwu LLB, The President Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Advocate has showered encomiums on the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru for his commitment towards the development of Ebonyi Rural areas through the World Bank Assisted Ebonyi State Community and Social Development Agency (EB- CSDA).
Amb. Nwachukwu gave the commendation when he visited and inspected two World Bank completed micro projects that were undertaken by the Ebonyi State Community and Social Development Agency in his community in Ugboanyim 2 Ezzagu in Ishielu Local Government Area of the State.
Recall that the Ebonyi State government had awarded a cheque of Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000.00) each to 31 communities to initiate and execute projects of their choice. This initiative falls under the Ebonyi State Community and Social Development Agency, which is a World Bank Assisted Intervention.
While presenting the cheques, the Governor encouraged the recipient communities to use the funds judiciously for the betterment of their communities and the welfare of Ebonyi people. The Governor stated that funds reflects the state’s commitment to empowering its communities for self-help and development.
Amb. Nwachukwu described the renovated and well equipped Ugboanyim 11 Health Center and the erosion control Culvert as a people oriented project which has meet the yearnings of his community.
He stated thus, “I am extremely glad for the transformational Leadership of His Excellency RT. Hon. Ogbonna Nwifuru for his commitment to the development of all communities in the State,
“This world Bank assisted project is meeting the needs of my immediate community and women and children can now access basic healthcare at their door step, thr culvert has ensured easy passage of motorist unlike in thr past when commuters faced rigorous challenges occasioned by erosion”.
“I must commend the President General of my Town Union, Chief Onyebuchi John (Ikeoha) for ensuring that the project sum was not diverted or misappropriated but rather it was used for the execution of the two important projects which meets the needs and yearning of the Community”.
Amb. Nwachukwu called on the food people of Ezzagu to be unrelenting in their avid support of the His Excellency in delivering on the people’s charter of needs. He futher assured the Governor of Ebonyi State that his people will reciprocate the kind gesture by ensuring that candidates of the All Progressive Congress emerges victorious in all elective positions in the State.
