AGE IS A CAGE, FREE YOURSELF : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
1 Kings 22:24 KJV.
But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee?
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ Ahab, the king of Israel was to go to battle and he sought the assistance of Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah to go with him.
☆☆☆ Jehoshaphat insisted they should seek the face of God before going to the battle.
☆☆☆ All the prophets, including the highly respected *Zedekiah* , prophesied peace but *Micaiah* saw differently.
☆☆☆ Zedekiah felt insulted when prophet Micaiah declared 👇
“Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee” – 1 Kings 22:23.
☆☆☆ Zedekiah was one of those prophets indirectly being labeled as “a lying spirit”.
☆☆☆ He was much older and more experienced in prophetic ministry than Micaiah.
☆☆☆ He now wondered how the spirit of God would bypass him to speak to a younger prophet.
☆☆☆ He therefore struck Micaiah on the cheek to silence him.
☆☆☆ Beloved, *in the realm of the spirit, age is a cage* .
☆☆☆ A man of God said, only in the village that people reckon with age.
☆☆☆ If you are the oldest in the family, you automatically become *the head of the family* even though you have no money.
☆☆☆ If you position yourself as the head of your family being the oldest, but no family meeting can hold until your junior brother who has money arrives; who then is now the head?
■ ■ ■ One day, a man (Mr A) met a friend (Mr B). Mr B was trying to console his friend, Mr A, over the death of his mother. Trying to explain why he (Mr B) couldn’t come for the burial. Mr A shouted and asked his friend, Mr B, to shut his mouth that nothing happened to his mother. Mr A’s junior brother was called on phone and he confirmed it was true that their mother died and was buried 3 months ago. He now told his senior brother, Mr A, who is the head of the family by age; that they decided not to bother him about mama’s burial. He now reminded his senior brother, the head of the family that he; the junior brother, would be the one to take care of his (Mr A) expenses for the burial. So he decided to bury their mother without informing his senior brother.
So who is now the head of the family?
☆☆☆ Beloved, it is the one who has results that can terminate insults who is a recognized head of the family.
☆☆☆ There is a Zedekiah in every family beloved.
☆☆☆ A Zedekiah in your place of work and among your colleagues and friends.
☆☆☆ The assignment of Zedekiah is to silence every voice competing with his.
☆☆☆ Zedekiah wants only his own voice to be heard.
☆☆☆ He is merely envious of the grace of God upon your life.
☆☆☆ He cannot explain why you are succeeding in the areas he has failed.
☆☆☆ So he wants to silence you permanently.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, silence every Zedekiah secretly working to block my voice from being heard.
2. My father, my father, expose and disgrace every Zedekiah hiding among my family members in Jesus name.
3. In the name of Jesus, I unseat every power sitting upon my glory.
4. You demonic personality from my place of birth, you cannot silence me in Jesus name.
5. Father, please don’t allow the Zedekiahs in my father’s house to silence me in Jesus name.
6. My father and my God, let my voice be heard where you have purposed my star to shine.
7. I refuse to be silenced on the day of my manifestation.
8. Father, as I advance in age, please don’t allow me to be caged by old age syndrome in Jesus name.
9. Oh God my creator, I shall not become a servant to my servants in Jesus name.
10. Father, don’t allow my head to take the position of a tail in the family in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS* 👇
I decree, the Lord shall silence every Zedekiah operating in your life from today in Jesus name.
Every voice crying aloud to silence you shall be silenced in Jesus name.
The voice of Zedekiah trying to prevent your voice from being heard shall be silenced in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, every oppressor of your destiny shall be suppressed from today in Jesus name.
■ ■ ■ When eventually the prophecy of Micaiah came to pass, Zedekiah went into hiding.
I prophesy, the manifestation of your glory shall bow the heads of your mockers in shame in Jesus name.
Once again, I prophesy, your voice shall be heard where it matters in Jesus name.
May the Lord make you a voice to your generation in Jesus name.
I prophesy, your glory shall speak forth and not be silenced in Jesus name.
Your star shall not be caged in Jesus mighty name.
