Why is Ondo State in the news on account of Food?? To feed, eat & gather strength.
Is there a need for Government intervention in the provision of farm tools, increasing potential possibilities for mechanised farming and building security architecture to protect our people who are fast loosing interest in Farming?
Something is amiss! Ondo State in lack of Food or, the high price in the purchase of food commodities is unhealthy, pitiable and strange. I call on the Govt of Mr. Aiyedatiwa to enter dialogue & interface with the farmers .
This is more consequential than any politics that may emerge in due course. Otherwise, our people are likely gonna die for the cheapest reasons we can avoid. Food scarcity or, it high cost is a No! Let the Govt initiate a Task Force in this regard. The State Assembly is required to think in this line & come up with Laws that promote the sanctity of Life as provided under S33 of the 1999CFRN (as amended). The right to Life is sacrosanct! Govt shd create enabling environment…
