Barely 24 hours after Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu hinted on his desire to run for second term if given the mandate, Lagosians have taken to social media to react to the comments made by the Governor.
Sanwo-Olu, who was guest on Channels TV morning programme, Sunrise Daily was asked about his second term ambition and the Governor was quoted as saying that Lagosians will miss his government if he is not allowed a second term in office.
His statement seemed to have ticked off Lagosians, who did not waste time to pick holes in the governor’s statement, while some insisted that his government will not be missed unlike that of his predecessor in office, Akinwunmi Ambode.

shofftaigar I think the Governor has done well in the area of mass engagement. He has been open in talking and interacting either the poeple of Lagos State. I dont think he regards himself as a ruler but a Leader and in leading , speaks to the people. Often misunderstood, but on this point I agree. He will be missed. But I want to see a more decisive Sanwo if given a second term. All the best to him 🙌
