Happy Democracy Day Celebration to all Nigerians.
The birth of our current Democracy came through the sacrifice, commitment and dedication to our fatherland.
It was celebrated with maximum anticipation of yielding good governance, rule of law and exercise of constitutional authority in the overall interest of our citizens.
We have come a long way in trying to entrench full Democratic system of Governance in the country, after the series of unwanted and unwarranted Military interregnum.
Here we are today, we are moving ahead in our uninterrupted democratic life as the country continues to witness electoral processes in all parts of the country, though not perfect yet , but we continue to work towards perfection .
We have more achievements to celebrate than our challenges.
We will continue to work on all the perceived challenges and also strengthen the Democratic ethos to achieve a prosperous nation that we will all be proud of.
I use this medium to celebrate the giant strides achieved as a people with shared origin and shared democratic values.
May the sacrifice of our heroes past not be in vein.
