Sunshine TV set to be launched in Ondo State
A new television station is set to be launched in Ondo State, named Sunshine TV, and will be the first of its kind in Ondo State.
Sunshine TV, though named after the state slogan, is owned by a private organisation while to date, all television stations have been Government owned stations and are mostly on terrestrial so this is breaking ground for TV.
The set goals of Sunshine TV include showcasing Ondo State and her rich culture to the entire world, promotion of Government and private organisation programmes, breaking news from across the world as well as entertainment, sports and business promotion.
At the moment, Sunshine TV is on Nigeria free to air TV satellite service NIGCOMSAT. Enthusiasts can get NIGCOMSAT channels on universal HD decoders such as Strong, using specific NIGCOMSAT Parameters (frequency and symbol rate) which are outlined below:
Frequency: 12518 MHz
Symbol Rate: 29500 MHz
Polarization: Horizontal
NIGCOMSAT is available in most African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Togo, Niger, Zimbabwe, Zambia and lots more.
