YOUR FAITH DETERMINES THE SCOPE OF YOUR RISING – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
*TEXT:*
Mark 11:22-24 KJV.
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God”.
[23] “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.
[24] “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ Talking about FAITH, it is the opposite of FEAR. Somebody said, when fear steps into your heart, faith jumps out.
☆☆☆ What then is F-E-A-R, it simply means *Face Everything And Run*
☆☆☆ Fear doesn’t see possibilities hidden or buried inside every difficult situations.
☆☆☆ As a matter of fact, what we see as Success today is *Failure turned inside out*
☆☆☆ A man may have to try his hands on something again and again before achieving success in life.
☆☆☆ The fellow who tried and failed is far better and ahead of the man who hasn’t made any attempt.
☆☆☆ When you try and fail, something is sure, experience has been gained.
☆☆☆ Faith on the other hand, sees victory ahead of a battle. Faith believes in success despite all known obstacles.
☆☆☆ In Numbers chapter 13, twelve people were sent by Moses to spy the land of Canaan, ten saw visible challenges and obstacles but Joshua and Caleb saw them taking over the land despite the presence of the giants. Only the two of them did because they had faith.
☆☆☆ Beloved, below are 10 things you need to note and do when fear comes knocking on the door of your faith👇
*1. Fear will surely come but don’t allow it to overcome you, attack that fear with your faith.*
The bible says👇
Romans 8:35 KJV.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
☆☆☆ Don’t allow the challenges of life to stop you from becoming who God has ordained you to become.
*2. Let your faith grow through the word of God.*
☆☆☆ The Word of God has been existing before your challenges came into being. The joy of it all is that the solutions to those challenges have equally been on ground before your problems became manifest.
☆☆☆ The bible says:
John 1:1 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
☆☆☆ Unfortunately, many people don’t know that the solution to their challenges are hidden in the word of God.
☆☆☆ Search out those solutions through constant meditation in the word of God.
☆☆☆ Again the bible says:
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.
*3. Always remember, God has promised to be with us to see us through.*
☆☆☆ God will never forsake his own, especially those who put their trust in God through faith.
☆☆☆ For the bible says👇
Isaiah 41:10 KJV.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.
☆☆☆ Irrespective of our situation and the challenges of life, God has promised to see us through.
Isaiah 43:2 KJV.
*When* thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: *when* thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.
☆☆☆ Beloved, note that the condition is WHEN not IF. Challenges will surely come, overcome them through your faith.
*4. Let your faith in God remain ever steadfast and be rooted in the word of God*
☆☆☆ Once the Word of God has gone forth, it is settled and there will surely be a performance.
Psalm 119:89 says:
“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven”.
☆☆☆ Again the bible says👇
Isaiah 55:11 KJV
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”.
☆☆☆ Let your faith be rooted in the promises of God and you will surely testify.
*5. Note that the God in you is greater than the god in them.*
☆☆☆ There are demons sponsoring those challenges. Let those challenges know that your God is bigger than the demons behind them.
☆☆☆ Let your faith be rooted in the promises of God and you will surely testify.
☆☆☆ Again the bible declares👇
1 John 4:4 KJV.
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”.
*6. Exercise your faith in God and those challenges shall disappear.*
☆☆☆ The moment you believe God, the hardest and the most difficult situation in your life will bow.
☆☆☆ Believe that your faith can melt away every hardship in your life.
☆☆☆ Our focal scripture, Mark 11:23 refers.
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.
*7. Take cognisance of your faith.*
☆☆☆ Where is your faith!!
☆☆☆ Once in a while, put your faith to test. In the face of the challenges of life, declare the world of God and believe in it.
☆☆☆ For the bible assures us in Romans 8:37👇
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”.
☆☆☆ Conquer your fear with faith beloved.
*8. Look away from your challenges and see victory through faith.*
☆☆☆ When you look away from God, you will surely see those challenges.
☆☆☆ Once you see the challenges, they will overwhelm you and if care is not taken, you will drown.
☆☆☆ The case of Peter is a confirmation of this:
Matthew 14:29-31 KJV.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
[30] But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
[31] And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt”
☆☆☆ Beloved, look up unto Jesus and your challenges shall bow and fade away.
Hebrews 12:2 says:
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”.
*9. Destroy that fear with your faith.*
☆☆☆ Your success or breakthrough in life, is a function of your faith.
☆☆☆ No man can receive anything from God without faith.
☆☆☆ For the bible declares👇
Hebrews 11:6 KJV.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.
☆☆☆ If you don’t act in faith, fear will destroy your testimonies.
*10. Reactivate your faith against the challenges of life.*
☆☆☆ Challenges will surely come beloved, let your faith come alive and see those challenges turn to testimonies.
☆☆☆ All that God requires of you is just a little faith. As you keep exercising that little faith in the faces of the challenges of life, your faith will grow and those challenges will decrease until you see them no more.
☆☆☆ Bible reference:
Mark 11:23-24.
