In fulfilment of his campaign promise of financial reward for any of the wards that give the highest votes at the last Local Government election, which is also a sort of Good Reward System for party members, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe LG, Hon. (Bar.) Moyosore Ogunlewe has presented the Ward F wing of Kosofe All Progressives Congress a cheque of N1,000,000.
The presentation of the cheque was one of the highlights of the 100 Days in Office celebration of the Ogunlewe-led administration which was held at the Council Secretariat two days ago.
The cheque was presented by the Executive Chairman to members of the ward led by Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, who received it on behalf of Ward F Ojota. According to the Chairman shortly after the presentation, the era of ‘use & dump’ has become a thing of the past in Kosofe Local Government, and all party members must have something to show for their support and commitment to the APC as a party.
He promised to ensure that an effective Reward System is in place for members of the party across the board so the party can always do better at elections. ”Our people must have something meaningful to show for being staunch members of the All Progressives Congress this time around and for canvassing for votes at elections’ he said.
