False accusations and a slew of uncoordinated criticisms have been levelled at Chief Mrs. Afolásadé Mujidat Tinúbú-Òjó, the first daughter of Nigeria’s president, in recent times.
The evident goal has been to discredit her positive, patriotic and charitable deeds and effects on the country of Nigeria.
In my view as Human-Right activist and truth-seeker, the time has come for these baseless rumors, accusations and trends surrounding the first daughter of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be put to rest and corrected. Keep in mind that she is not sponsoring this article in any way. Standing up for and defending the truth at all times, regardless of who is involved, is absolutely right, even if I have never had any direct personal interaction with her.
As the first daughter of Nigeria’s president, the ÌyálójàGeneral of Nigeria exemplifies the many wonderful, amazing and remarkable roles that active women play in society.
Aside from being a remarkable daughter who brings immense pride to her parents, she is also a fantastic sister, a doting wife, mother and a highly accomplished woman who has inspired and continues to inspire many, particularly women.
In her life and career, Afolásadé Tinúbú-Òjó has shown that women can achieve great heights, regardless of their chosen profession or area of authority. Allow Afolásadé Tinúbú-Òjó Breath! Her work is paving the way for her.
As the Ìyálójà General of Lagos, Nigeria, Afolásadé Tinúbú-Òjó plays a pivotal role in the Nigerian government. Ìyá Oba of Àwórì Land, Yèyé Oba Oba of Ògùdù, and Ààre Ajé of Ìkálè Land are just three of the many titles she has earned in her impressive career.
She has been an invaluable member of the market community. She has been very interested in improving the lives of people in her sphere of influence, doing everything from building recreation centers and primary healthcare facilities to empowering women and men in the market through business loans.
She has received numerous accolades and appellations from those who cherish, appreciate, or have benefited from her good works and impactful programs, as well as her philanthropic deeds, which have positively affected and continue to affect the lives of many people and households across the nation. For that reason, she was introduced as “The Queen of Nigeria” at an event in Nasarawa State.
Chief Mrs Afolásadé Tinúbú- Òjó, is making huge difference in the lives of ordinary Nigerians, especially through partnerships with other NGOs and government institutions.
She recently inaugurated a center for vocational and entrepreneurial skills and research as pro-chancellor of Havilla University in Cross River State.
She has also been advocating for the inclusion of more women in governance, urging women not to relent in the fight against marginalization.
She has grown into a powerful voice for the plight of women, speaking out against issues like domestic violence and gender inequality.
She helps women in need by partnering with NGOs and community leaders to provide them with support and resources. Programs that empowers women across the state are being establish in large part because of her numerous works.
As the first daughter of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Afolásadé Tinúbú-Òjó, is deeply concerned about the current economic situation the country is facing.
In a recent statement she made in an interview with newsmen at an event at The National Stadium, Sùúrùlérè,on Sunday, February 18, 2024, she said, “My message to all Nigerians is to please exercise a little more patience. Everything will be alright; it’s just a matter of time.
We need to keep our hope alive. There is an economic downturn all over the world, not just in Nigeria. But we pray Allah will see us through.” This buttresses her genuine interest in the wellbeing of Nigerians.
On a general note, the criticism of presidents’ active daughters is not peculiar to her as there are similar instances, like Ìyábò Obásanjó, the daughter of the former president, Olúségun Obásanjó, who was a serving Commissioner of Health in Ogun State while her father was the president. She was also faced with several criticisms as the president’s daughter.
Also, Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the formal president of the United States of America, served as an adviser to her father and had to face several criticisms.
It is expedient that every mischievous critic against women that is rising and breaking the edge in their world be put to an end and instead be encouraged to do more. In 2024 alone, for example, we have recorded about ten women who have risen to the role of CEOs in the banking industry.
