The Ekiti south development agenda a group committed to making a person of Ekiti south extraction become governor in 2022 have called on the chairman of both the rulling All progressive Congress ( A.P.C) Barrister Paul Omotosho, and Hon Joseph lanre Omolase popularly known as Mola the chairman of the major opposition party in the state the People’s democratic party ( P.D.P) to resign from their position immediately in the interest of the Ekiti south People.
The group said it is not politicaly possible for them to be party chairman and expect the governoship aspirant of their respective party to be picked from Ekiti south.
The Ekiti south development agenda said the argument been raised by stakeholders from other senatorial district consulted so far have been that the chairman of a political party cannot come from an area and the governoship aspirant of the party from the same area.
The group urged both Hon Joseph lanre Omolase and Barrister Paul Omotosho not to be selfish by using their personal ambition to jeopardize the collective agitation of the Ekiti south people as posterity stands to judge the role played by everyone as the group is working assiduously towards balancing the political equation in Ekiti state.
