Industrialization is a process of social and economic changes whereby a human society is transformed from a low level to a fully industrialized one. For any Nation of the world to develop, there is always the need for industrialization. When a Nation or State is industrialized such tends to grow wholistically and more importantly when talking about economic growth. A case study of Lagos State is easy to mention. Lagos State grew it’s economy to the extent that it has become a country of its own as a result of the level of her industrialization. Today, the State does not really depend on what comes from Abuja any longer but will just augment its expenditures with what ever comes in from the central.

Once upon a time our dear sunshine State was in the league of States with self reliant economy due to the avalanche of industries then which directly increased the income of the state but alas, as time flew, with maladministration of some past regimes these industries became moribund and our dear State nose dived into abject poverty. We now relied majorly on what comes from Abuja to survive.
The current administration led by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu within the limited time and available resources has changed the narratives of what the State used to be. He has so far created an enabling environment for investors and investment to thrive gradually from a government driven economy to an investment driven economy which will no doubt increase the level of the wealth of the State and fast track rapid economic development.

Akeredolu’s administration has turned Odigbo Local Government of the State to an industrial center which was given a head praise by Mr President during the commissioning.

Currently at the Ore industrial hub, we have the cassava to Ethanol industry which has turned Ondo State to a centre market for all cassava farmers across the south western of Nigeria. This venture has also created Jobs for the teaming youths across the State.

The paper mill industry is another feat to behold apart from the Ore industrial hub, this is first of its kind in Ondo state. Directly this has turned the sunshine State to a supplier of papers to many of the states in Nigeria.
Worthy of mentioning is also the textile industry where wool and many other fashion and sewing materials are been made. This industry has also employed close to a thousand of youths or more in the State. The trucks plant is also near completion, it is expected to take off soonest.

Sincerely speaking this is one of the reasons why Ondo State has been ranked among the States with the highest internally generated revenue while not even putting heavy burdens on the citizens of the State.
Within the three years of this administration many great things have been put in order and achieved, more than it used to be in the past, if we are to be frank and sincere.

The Ondo Sea Port will also be another cynosure of heavy economic development when completed. It will open our State to the entire world as we possess the longest and largest coaster line in Africa. These and many more to mention especially in the areas of infrastructural development which are kept for another time are the major reasons why Aketi Led administration must continue in the State for the sake of the present and yet to be born generations.

Without any iota of doubt Governor Oluwarotinmi Akeredolu has performed excellently well. We must give him Kudos for this great sense of governance and his economic transformation process.
There is the need for continuity.

Yes we have seen a new and re-branded sunshine State and to build up on this legacies, there is the need to give Aketi 2nd term in office.
FOR ME, MY FRIENDS & FAMILIES WE WILL SUPPORT AkETI FOR 2ND TERM
I URGE YOU TO DO SAME

Long live Ondo State!
Long Live Nigeria!
