Comr. Olayemi OLANITORI emerged SSANIP Secretary

The senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnic (SSANIP) Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo Chapter had elected new executive members of the association.
SSANIP of RUGIPO Chapter elected executive of the association which comprises the Non-teaching Staff of the oldest ivory tower in the Sunshine State on Thursday 14th March, 2024.
They were elected to steers the affairs of the association for four years.
The election was conducted by Mr. Bayo Elebute led Electoral Committee in a well organized and transparent poll that was adjudged free and fare by the Union’s stakeholders.
The electioneering process started collections of forms, screening of eligible contestants with manifestos presentation by all the contestants who were given opportunities to sell their respective missions and goals to the entire members of the association before the proper election.
The SSANIP election was observed by the National Vice President (South) who also doubled as the Zonal Coordinator of the association (Southwest), (Chief) Comr. Ayodeji Bankole whose contribution complimented the electoral committee and validated the process of the election as well.
The staffs came out in droves to cast their votes for their choice candidates and at the end, the winners emerged.
The chapter will be led by Comr. Saka-Olokungboye Nurudeen AKA SO2, and Comr. Olayemi OLANITORI AkA ‘DUKE’ emerged Secretary. Duke sent his appreciation to the leaders and members of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo Chapter of the association for their support and choice of him as their preferred scribe of the association in a moment like this
.
The members are very optimistic that with the dual combination of the Chairman, the Secretary and that of the cooperation of other executive members, SSANIP RUGIPO Chapter will be well administered and take it’s rightful place amongst the committee of association.
The Zonal Coordinator in his remark urged the newly elected officers of the association to represent the RUGIPO Chapter well and be a good ambassador and to deliver on their electoral promises to their members respectively.
The Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo Chapter of the SSANIP was bewildered with internal wrangling since last year, consequently led to the suspension of the former executives and the Congress gave the executive power to the Alhaji Nafiu Okoro led caretaker committee to savage the association.
The newly elected executive will be sworn in soon as reported by the Comr. Ayodeji Bankole.
