Happy Easter celebration to the good people of Ondo- State : May this Easter Sunday inspire us to new hope, happiness, prosperity, and abundance,
Today, our hearts are with the unemployed youths , senior citizens, retirees, pensioners, and toddlers living below the poverty line as a result of the accumulated leadership failure of the defunct PDP government of Ondo state
Aketi inherited a failed state —there were no infrastructure, institutions and government sponsored programs, to encourage and nurture the creation of wealth, and the building of the middle class. This has resulted in the creation and perpetuation of a consumptive society where there’s no encouragement and support of manufacturing and mass productions of goods and services.
Any society that only consumes what others have produced, without manufacturing its own goods and services will never be economical strong nor politically relevant.
Today, the difference is clear with the emergence of Aketi :
- The 9 months outstanding salaries owed the civil servants cleared
- Ondo state is gradually becoming a major agricultural and tourism destination in Africa.
- The economy is open for private enterprise to thrive- the first round of bidding for the exploration and production of our bitumen is on course .
-We encourage PPP on many of our projects
-Multiple companies are operating in the Ore Industrial hub providing jobs to thousands of our citizens
- Akeredolu has kept to his promise to make both the people’s welfare and infrastructural development of the state a priority of his administration.
-The Akeredolu’s magic touch on roads rehabilitation and construction do not discriminate against federal, state or local government roads. That is the case on the Owo-Ikare road , the overhead bridge at Ore and several other roads spread across the
three senatorial districts of the Sunshine State.
- over 1000 Schools renovated
- construction / renovation of well equipped hospitals in the three senatorial districts
-it is important to do what is right, and not what is easy! Aketi remain steadfast in projecting 21st century policies in the areas of infrastructural & industrialization development of Ondo State, above sharing money on the street which would further pauperize our people.
-The major reason for all the noice in Ondo- State today by few disgruntled politicians is because Aketi refuse to share the money for your salaries, wages and the development of your infrastructure, but they will surely fail—
Solomon warned in Eccl 5 : 10-11 “Those who love money and seek it obsessively never find the happiness it promises” (Eccl. 5:10,11).
