OLASUMBO FASEESIN, ESQ CONDOLES OBA AKOKO PEOPLE OVER MONARCH DEMISE
A Former board member of the public defender in Ondo state, Hon. Olasumbo Faseesin, Esq. Has condoled with the people of Oba Akoko, in the Akoko South West local government Area of Ondo state on the demise of Oba Nurudeen, the Oloba of Oba.
Olasumbo Faseesin in a condolence message released to our heritage reporter on Thursday afternoon described the late monarch as a Father who truly loved his community.
His statement reads:
My condolence to the good people of Oba Akoko, and the immediate family of Oba Nurudeen who’s acclaimed to be the oldest serving Oba known to history. A few moments with Kabiyesi testifies to a Father who truly loved his community.
At some times, Kabiyesi while visiting his farmyard would branch to say hi to my late grandmother, Jaratu. He was extremely humble, cheerful and accommodating.
I watch the late Kabiyesi exchange pleasantries with my late Gran who’s of the Apada descent. It was usually convivial. Kabiyesi in his unusual humour 🤣will respectfully chit chat with mama.
Amiable, strong, blessed, humble, diligent. His prayers, among other things have kept the community unite & unique.
My visit on view occasions to the Palace was more receptive, and heartwarming. I thank you Oba Nurudeen for all the good humour & jovial chats. May Almighty Allah keep the past you left.
I celebrate you, Olooba! Olasumbo Faseesin, Esq!
