In a meeting presided by it National Leader, a nine man committee was inaugurated ahead of the upcoming inauguration of the Movement for the actualization of Nigeria President of Igbo extraction( MANPIE) State, Local government area and ward Executives.
Welcoming the members on the meeting, the state Chairman of MANPIE, Comr. Unuero Sylvester, thanked all for taking out time to come for the meeting, despite the far distance. most of the members came from different local government area of Imo state, for purpose of the meeting.
Explaining further, the national leader, Commended the Imo state chapter of MANPIE who According to him, have done well in preaching peace among Igbo nation in recent time.
MANPIE is a group of like minds across the country, who believe in equality of all the people, fairness and social justice. It is a call, to demand the attention of all Igbo Patriots who will subscribe to the principle of equal access to opportunities including power.
In the constituted meeting, it was resolved that the inauguration of the state chapter should be inaugurated on 6th, September,20 21 and a planning / inauguration Committee was elected with chief Festus Enyinnaya Acholonu as the Chairman.
In his acceptance speech, chief Festus Enyinnaya Acholonu, on behalf of the committee members, thanked the all the members for finding them worthy of such appointment and presented his address as follows ” Dear inauguration Committee members, it’s with great pleasure, humility and a sense of commitment that I welcome you all to this platform, I thank you immensely for accepting to work with me. Moreso, the team spirit I perceive we all have and will demonstrate as we coast to the promised land- Manpie ( Truth & Peace Initiative ) Imo State Chapter slated for November 6th, 2021.
Finally , he congratulated all for being part of the committee while praying to God to grant them good health, strength and wisdom to perform this onerous assignment to the glory of God.
