THE Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja has reacted to the viral video on Social Media where a Junior Army Officer was seen insulting the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the arrest of an Army Officer driving his motorcycle against the traffic along Mile 2 – Badagry Expressway in Lagos.

 

General Taoreed Lagbaja, in Enugu while reacting to the arrest of the Soldier in Lagos said the Army Frown at that any act of indiscipline in the force.

He maintained that the Army remains a serious force that is disciplined and upholding laws of where they are deployed to.

 

 

He dissociated the force from those comic acts demonstrated on social media, said they are not members of the Nigerian Army.

 

The COAS revealed that the Junior Army Officer who was seen insulting the governor have been apprehended and is currently being investigated.

 

Lagbaja added that others who are in army uniform who were seen attacking the person of Mr. Governor are not members of the Army.
