Just In : House of Assembly Passes 2024 Budget of #258.2 billion
Kogi State House of Assembly has passed into law the twenty twenty four Appropriation Bill of over two hundred and fifty eight point two billion naira.
The passage followed the adoption of the report of the House Standing Committee on Appropriation Budget Monitoring abd Economic Planning.
At the clause by clause consideration by the committee of supply, the Speaker Aliyu Umar Yusuf said the bill had in it authorized recurrent expenditure of over one hundred and forty five point seven billion naira while the authorized capital expenditure stood at over one hundred and twelve point five billion naira.
He said the bill which had shown the allocation of funds to each Ministries, Departments and Agencies would take effect from January one, twenty twenty four and end December thirty first twenty twenty four.
