In a bid to address the recent theft of a million-dollar chain belonging to renowned Nigerian artist Mayorkun, Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State engaged in a meeting with the singer on Tuesday evening.

Mayorkun, whose chain went missing during his show in Calabar, had previously expressed his adamant stance against revisiting the city in response to the theft.

Notably, Calabar’s own musician, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, commonly known as Iyanya, stepped forward to confirm the return of one of the pendants. Additionally, he passionately appealed for the retrieval of the remaining piece, highlighting the significance of its return to the artist. One thing you can never take from a leader is when he steps in on issues and deal with it decisively.
