Ondo Northern District youths under the auspices of “Ondo North Youth Alliance” has berated the Senator representing Ondo Northern Senatorial district Prof. Robert Ajayi Boroffice for condemning the NANS JCC Ondo State chapters for demanding their rights and privileges.
The youth also commended the leaders of NANS in Ondo State for taking a bold step in addressing the negligence on the part of the Senator towards the student community. It is a step in the right direction towards attaining total accountability in politics and administrations.
As a public office holder who must be accountable and transparent to his constituents, he should know that the students have the right to demand for the dividends of democracy which was part of his campaign promises and manifesto.
As a matter of fact the Senator should call a meeting of stakeholders in the students’ community to give feedback on the educational empowerment he promised the students during the 2019 general elections.
We enjoin all youths in Ondo Northern Senatorial district to desist from being used by politicians for their selfish interest.
It is time for us to hold them accountable to their manifestos and political promises.
