Just In : Senators Donate Salaries To Kaduna Bombing Victims

All Nigerian senators have collectively contributed their December salaries, totaling N109 million, towards supporting the victims of the unfortunate bombing incident in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, revealed this information during a visit to the Kaduna Government House, where he led a prominent Senate delegation to the state. The delegation, headed by Senator Uba Sani, was warmly welcomed by the state governor.

Senator Barau, as conveyed in a statement by his Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, specified that the funds would be transmitted to the state governor for subsequent distribution to the victims of the incident.

The governor expressed gratitude to the senators for their generous donation.

The Senate delegation comprising the Senate leader, Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele; the Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume; Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro; Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Kamorudeen Olarere; Senator Abdulhamid Malam-Madori; Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis; Senator Ibrahim Bomoi; Senator Ibrahim Lamido; Senator Abdulaziz Yarā€™Adua; Senator Victor Umeh; Senator Muntari Dandutse; Senator Lawal Usman; and Senator Emmanuel Udende, were also at the Barau Dikko Hospital to visit the victims.
