“A tragic loss” King Baridam mourns Rivers Lawmaker’s death
His Royal Majesty King Dr. Suanu T. Baridam Yormaadam, acting chairman of the Ogoni Council of Traditional Rulers and a member of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council, has described the untimely death of Barr. Dinebari Loolo as a great loss to the people of Nyokhana, Khana, Ogoni, and Rivers State.
Baridam stated this shortly after receiving the corpse of the Rivers lawmaker in Taaba, the headquarters of Nyokhana in Khana Local Government Area.
He described Dinebari as a dependable subject, an elder statesman, and a friend for all. He said the death had created a void in Nyokhana and robbed the people of his constituency of quality and uncompromising representation in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
“On this day, I join millions of Ogoni’s to mourn a very distinguished man who served his people with uttermost dedication and commitment. He was a perfect gentleman, silent achiever, and friend of all.”
“We lost a brother, friend, and great man at a time when his constituency, the honourable house, and the state needed his brilliant contributions the most.”
“Though he is no more today, we find solace in the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulation.
“On behalf of the traditional rulers council and Nyokhana people, I send my deep condolences to his family, the good people of Khana 2 constituency, Khana local government area, and Rivers State”.
He urged people to be comforted by the knowledge that Hon. Dinebari Loolo had a good life, left a legacy of selfless service, and held a unique position as one of those who pushed for exceptional state growth via the use of great legislation and the law.
” May God grant him eternal rest and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, the King added.
