The Imade College hall was full to the brim on Sunday 7th March 2021 as the popular Democratic peace movement for Aketi second term under the leadership of Chief Lawrence Omosanya organized post inauguration party for members and All progressive Congress in owo local government.
Democratic peace movement for Aketi second term is a team of ideological individuals with the sole aim for good and purposeful government and in particular for Aketi second term in office which eventually now a success story.
The post inauguration committee chiarman, chief Olantori while appreciating all the members for their act of committment towards the AKETI project,he made it known that the group is great full of great fellows with great mindset as all funds were donated by members and there was no time the group demands money from Government or Governor Akeredolu for their electioneering task.
In his on message at the event, Otunba Elegbeleye who represented the chief of staff Hon Gbenga Ale ,he congratulates all members of the group and assure them all that,they should expect more Developments in ondo State more than ever before in journey of the next four years.
Morealso, Princess Olufunmilayo Ademulegun appreciated all members for the various contributions and selfless service rendered in the areas of finance and welfare during the electioneering periods, she also prayed that all members gain from all thier labour’s on the project.
In his own address the the chiarman and convener of the Group, chief Lawrence Olufemi Omosanya who double as the Commissioner representing Ondo State at the Federal Character Abuja appreciated all members of the group, he recalled that ,the first meeting of the group was held around may 2019 with only 24 members and as at today they have more than 200 members in the group, the chairman also assures that Akeredolu will not fail them, that the next four years will be known for remarkable inventories and allround developments in the sunshine state.
The Director general of Aketi second term campaign,Rt Hon Victor Olabintan, in his own speech acknowledged that Democratic peace movement for Aketi second term played a great role when needed and that nobody will go unrewarded for all labourer deserves reward.
Dignitaries at the special Events includes: Olowo of owo represented by his chief of staff, Olupenme of Upenme Land,Elemure of Emure kingdom,Otunba Elegbeleye, Hon Victor Olabintan, Chief Lawrence Olufemi Omosanya,Pastor Akin Olootu, Princess Olufunmilayo Ademulegun,Hon Musa,Alhaji Anola, Chief TS Akinrinbola , Chairman and vice Chiarman of Owo local government and many others.
At the helm of Entertainment was the popular Owo Cultural Musician Iremide Cultural Group.
