Exodus 3:5 KJV.
“And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground”.
Let’s look at the meaning, significance and importance of the statement “put off thy shoes”.
You will agree with me that when somebody returns home from work or a journey, the first thing he does, which is very common, is to put off his/her shoes.
The meaning is that the journey ends now or is put on hold till further notice.
You will also agree with me that a journey cannot be smooth without the shoes on.
Beloved, bible scholars believed that the movement of Moses at that time was put on hold temporarily when he was asked to put off his shoes. His journey was halted because God wanted to have a discussion with him.
God had also told Moses that “whereon thou standest is holy ground”. That is understood.
This has generally been accepted as the reason why God asked Moses to put off his shoes.
This is also why some churches or people believe they must put off their shoes when going before God in prayers.
You will also notice this same occurrence in the encounter of Joshua with the angel of God as recorded in Joshua 5:15.
“And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so” – Joshua 5:15.
Joshua was leading the children of Israel to the promised land through Jericho and his movement was equally put on a temporary hold.
This was because the angel of God was to deliver a message from the Lord to him.
“Put off thy shoes” means that the journey ends now or is put on hold till further notice.
Beloved, please note that every good work of God the devil has copied and uses in negative forms.
Let us see a very good example of this in Ezekiel 37:15-22.
The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, [16] Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
[17] And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
[18] And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
[19] Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
[20] And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
[21] And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
[22] And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
The devil has copied this and when he wants to separate husband and wife, he uses some white garment priests or herbalists to get two candle sticks or images, write names of husband and wife on each, turn them back to back, tie them together and will begin to say: “as I turn your back against each other, so you are turned against each other as husband and wife from today”.
That marriage will scatter and breakup without any explanation.
■■■ Back to the main issue for today. If you now have a dream where your shoes were removed or ceased by the enemy, the implication is that your journey through life has been put on hold or being halted by satanic forces.
Such people may continue to struggle through life without any success.
The enemy can also, by the reason of removing somebody’s shoes, put a permanent stop to the life journey of an individual.
That may result in permanent incapacitation or even death.
If you are looking for your shoes in a dream, you need to fast and pray very hard to destroy the plan and purpose of the enemy concerning the journey of your life.
*PLEASE PRAY THESE PRAYERS:*
The enemies will not get hold of my shoes in Jesus name.
The journey of my life will not be truncated by the devices of the wicked in Jesus name.
The wicked will not succeed in putting the progress of my life on hold in Jesus name.
Father uproot every delay on my way to success and breakthrough in Jesus name.
I (put your name) shall not be stagnated by the devices of the wicked in Jesus name.
Father give me a brand new set of shoes and accelerate my journey through life in Jesus name.
Oh God my father, I free my marriage from the spiritual cage of the devil in Jesus name.
My father, my father, let every image that represents me on the altar of the devil catch fire now in Jesus name.
I command spiritual blindness upon every priest monitoring the affairs of my life.
*ROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:*
I pray for you today, every enemy planning to cut short your journey through life is cursed in Jesus name.
I decree, declare and prophesy, no powers shall be strong enough to terminate your journey through life in Jesus mighty name.
I decree, your progress through life shall the evil ones not be able to checkmate in Jesus name.
Every cog of the enemy in the wheel of the progress of your life is removed today.
I decree, the enemy will not get hold of your shoes in Jesus name.
I pray for somebody today and I decree, the devil will not succeed in breaking up your marriage in Jesus name.
I command every manipulation from the altar of the devil, resulting into unnecessary fight in your marriage, to cease now in Jesus name.
I command that altar of the devil, where your case has been presented and the priest in charge; to catch fire right now in Jesus name.
Your marriage will not obey the call of breakup from the pit of hell.
As you journey through life, I decree, you will reach your goal in Jesus name.
You will fulfill your time and purpose in life in Jesus mighty name.
