Aside COVID and hunger, Nigerians are daily confronted with death induced factors which include but not limited to high rate of unemployment, run away inflation, kidnapping, nepotism, extra judicial killings, extreme violence, infrastructural deficit etc.

As a result of the soaring unemployment rate, many young peopl of producrive age have diverted their talent to crime. Nigeria has become the world capital city for criminals. Cyber crimes have easily become the way of life for your brilliant minds who probably would have been intellectually engaged if the government had been serious with job creation and provision of enabling environment for would be entrepreneurs.

Kidnapping for ransom is another major crime bedevilling the country. The purpose of which is to get money to keep both body and soul together. Mindless kidnapping is causing uproar and sorrow in all the parts of Nigeria. The silence of the federal government is very condemnable.
No one can explain why a government would fold its arms and allow criminals to roam round the country to wreck so much havoc. It’s saddening that attempts by state governments to curb this ugly occurrences have been met with cold reactions from the federal government.

Indeed, the lacklustre behaviour of the federal government has given rise to tribal and ethnic agitations. In the south west part of Nigeria, the agitations have manifested in serious upheavals with Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho spearheading the ‘war’ against Fulani herdsmen in the Ibarapa axis

Indeed, it would not be out of place to ask the government to overhaul the nstion’s security architecture
The increase in violence cases is a course for worry.
Crime has no colour or tribe but it’s snowing incontrovertible fact today thst Fulani herdsmen are more guilty of crime than other tribes. The federal government being the government in charge of both the police and the military should rise to the occasion and deal with this issue squarely before Nigeria burn into pieces.

For Nigerians to have a breather now, the goverment must wake up from its present slumber and rescur the nstion from impendi ruin.
