Ondo Senator Charges Party Leaders in Akoko North To Maintain Hierarchical Order Ahead of Bye-Election
Sequel to the reformation of power in Akoko North East, APC members of the party have joined hands to work with the senator representing Ondo North senatorial district in the senate, Sen. Jide Ipinsagba who has done incredibly in the development of the Local Government
The Awalokan group was in attendance and made the commendation while receiving the senator in Ikare-Akoko appreciating Ipinsagba for quality representation others in attendance included Eminent leaders present at the meeting, including former deputy governor, Lasis Oluboyo, commissioner for water resources, Hon.Fatai Olotu Aburumaku, SSA on youth to governor Akeredolu, Muyiwa Ogunyemi and All the Excos of APC among others.
Senator Ipinsagba in his home Town called for unity amongst the leadership of the local government and reframe that all information, deliberation, and decision-making should be in one voice not in disarray because everyone in the party is important Non-Excos and Excos must obey our leaders and work together.
Therefore all members of the party including Excos must give feedback to their superior or leaders and if any attachments or information are dropped at his office and requires the attention of APC National leaders or Mr President he will do his part of the Assignment because everyone is accountable towards the party Development
However, Senator Ipinsagba also urged them to remain calm ahead of the upcoming bye-election in Akoko North-East/North-west federal constituency in the House of Representatives as the party leadership in the state is working on who to pick as a candidate to fill the vacant seat of the constituency in the green chamber.
You would recall that the seat of the federal constituency became vacant following the resignation of the former elected representative of the constituency, Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who has been appointed as the Minister for Interior by President Bola Tinubu.
The Ondo North senator added that the Awalokan deserve the position and their success closer than ever but emphasized that All leaders must work together before INEC fixed a date for the election.
