Covid-19 is no doubt a heavy headache for most countries of the world and Governments at the different levels have been making several efforts in curbing the easy spread of this deadly virus.

In most countries, staying home to stay safe has been the order of the day, which many state government in Nigeria is also trying to put into place, by locking down markets, schools, religion and social gatherings.

Yes ,this can go along way in curbing the spread of virus and can as well increase numbers of death in Nigeria, because if a family of 6 should stay home for 3-5 days with noting on the table something terrible is knocking on the door step already.

Stay home,stay safe can only work well when the citizens are provided with all the neccesary materials needed such as foodstuffs, access to water, internet facilities, power supply and frequent awareness on mass medias.

Many of the Nigerian families live on daily income, in other words they feed and earns from what they engage in on daily basis such people includes :taxi and okada riders , shoemakers, traders, lower cadres government workers e.t.c.

If any government is to embark on stay at home for these set of families there is need for parlative measures in providing needful assisstance in other to prevent starvation which can easily lead to lost of lives.

N:B. If stay at home to stay safe to work in Nigeria there is urgent need for government at all levels, public officers, political office older and appointes, Religious leaders, private organisations,legislators at all levels of governments to provide their quotas in ensuring there is enough food and necessary materials in all Households and there should be strong effort for the control of price in other to reduces the level of inflation in the society.

In conclusion, there should be frequent sensitization for all and sundry as this will assist more in curbing spread of the deadly virus and at the same time solving the problem of starvation.
