Just In : State Government Recruits over 1,000 teachers to boost education sector

Jigawa state governor, Umar Namadi, on Tuesday, October 3, provided engagement letters to over one thousand graduates to serve as school teachers across the state in order to bridge the shortage of teachers in public schools throughout the state and enhance the quality of foundational education.

The engagement initiative, termed “Jigawa Teach” (J-Teach), offers graduates temporary employment as a stepping stone towards their eventual confirmation as permanent teachers.
