Our heritage reporter  reports that At least one person has been confirmed dead while four others sustained injuries when the elevator of the Cocoa House in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital collapsed during repairs.

Our heritage reporter assembled that the faulty elevator collapsed when some technicians were working on it to make it functional.

When the elevator fell, one of the technicians died instantly while three others sustained injuries.

But, reacting to the incident, Mr Victor Ayetoro, Head, Corporate Affairs, Odu’ a Investment Company Limited, confirmed the casualty figure but added that the conglomerate was trying to change the old elevator to a new one when the incident happened.
