Genesis 27:39 KJV.
“And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above”.
☆☆☆ We all know the story of Esau and Jacob.
☆☆☆ How Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a morsel of bread.
☆☆☆ And how Jacob eventually got the blessings meant for Esau.
☆☆☆ Esau now prayed Isaac, their father, to say a word of blessing into his own life too.
☆☆☆ But Isaac said to Esau, “Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing” – Genesis 27:35.
☆☆☆ This was like Isaac saying to Esau, “my son, there is no more prayers left in my mouth for you”.
☆☆☆ However, when you now examine the pronouncement of Isaac as a father upon Esau and how this later affected the life of Esau positively; then you will understand the potency of the prayers of parents.
☆☆☆ The prayer of Isaac for Esau is our main focus today.
☆☆☆ The prayer was very short but loaded and powerful.
“Thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth and of the dew of heaven from above”.
☆☆☆ What a powerful prayer from a loving father.
☆☆☆ What Isaac was saying to Esau was that:
☆☆☆ Esau would enjoy the fatness of the earth.
☆☆☆ The earth would yield her increase unto Esau.
☆☆☆ Even if rain didn’t fall for a long time, the dew of heaven would refresh the works of his hands.
☆☆☆ Beloved, check the lives of both Esau and Jacob, then you will see the importance and the power behind the prayer Isaac prayed for Esau, his son, that he loved so much.
☆☆☆ When Jacob was to meet Esau, the bible recorded that Esau had four hundred (400) body guards – Genesis 33:1.
☆☆☆ A poor man cannot hire four hundred body guards for himself alone.
☆☆☆ Even when Jacob tried to appease Esau with gifts from his own wealth, Esau said to him:
“I have enough my brother, keep that thou hast unto thyself” -Genesis 33:9.
☆☆☆ Beloved, if you still have a father and a mother, please take very good care of them.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the prayers of your parents are so powerful.
☆☆☆ Get close to your parents.
☆☆☆ Ocassionally, surprise them with gifts..
☆☆☆ Covet their prayers.
☆☆☆ Let me quickly add here that, the prayers of your spiritual father too are equally so powerful.
☆☆☆ A spiritual father can even cancel any curse placed upon a child by his parents.
☆☆☆ For instance, Jacob placed a curse upon Reuben (Gen. 49:3-4).
☆☆☆ The life of Reuben was miserable thereafter and nothing worked for him.
☆☆☆ Reuben was fortunate enough to meet with Moses.
☆☆☆ As a spiritual father to Reuben, Moses cancelled the curses, Deut. 33:6.
☆☆☆ If your mother or your father has placed a curse on you, please beloved, if they are still alive; run back to them and beg for forgiveness and plead that they pray for you.
☆☆☆ Please don’t go empty hand, take a good gift in your hand while going.
☆☆☆ In the event that your parents are no more living, go to your spiritual father (your pastor); tell him why you think your parents placed a curse on you.
☆☆☆ He will pray for you and the curses shall be reversed.
☆☆☆ Take good care of both your biological and spiritual parents beloved.
PRAYERS.
1. Oh God my father, please grant me the grace to always find favour before my earthly parents in Jesus name.
2. Father, please don’t ever allow me to walk into curses, either from my biological or spiritual parents in Jesus name.
3. My father and my God, in any way I might have incurred the curse(s) of my parents, please let your mercy reverse them in Jesus name.
4. Father, I cancel every curse directly or indirectly placed upon me by those who have authority over my life.
5. I walk away from every curse placed upon my lineage that has been blocking our breakthrough in Jesus name.
6. As a seed of Abraham, father let your grace upon my life cancel and render of no effect every curse placed upon my family.
7. Oh God my father, please reverse those curses placed upon my life by my parents who are now dead.
8. Father, let your mercy restore to me those blessings which curses have denied me of in Jesus name.
9. Daddy, let your mercy cancel every curse that I have ignorantly worked into in Jesus name.
10. I receive grace to stay out of curses in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
I stand as a spiritual father, to declare into the lives of as many as will have the opportunity to read this message and the following prophetic prayers:
Your dwelling shall be in the fatness of the earth.
The heaven shall release his dew upon the works of your hands.
If there is anyone reading this message and a curse had been placed upon your life by your parents, I decree by the Mandate of God in heaven, such curses are canceled now in Jesus name.
The earth shall yield her increase unto you henceforth in Jesus name.
On the day of your blessings, I decree, no one shall take your place in Jesus name.
Because you are a seed of Abraham, I prophesy, the Abrahamic blessings shall be your portion in Jesus name.
I prophesy, very soon; you too shall stand to say, “I have enough my brother”.
Your case is settled.
You are free from every curse in Jesus name.
Walk in freedom.
