BREAKING THE POWERS OF YOUR FATHER’S HOUSE – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Jeremiah 35:5-7 KJV.
“And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine”.
[6] “But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever”:
[7] “Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers”.
MESSAGE
☆☆☆ God had sent Jeremiah to the house of the Rechabites, instructing him to give them wine to drink.
☆☆☆ Beloved, give them wine to drink in this case could be seen as: make them merry, make them happy, create joy in their heart, let their days of sorrow be over.
☆☆☆ However, on getting to the house of the Rechabites, to carry out the instruction of God, the children of Jonadab; of the house of the Rechabites; told Jeremiah that their father had forbidden them from drinking wine.
☆☆☆ In essence, they were saying that their father had asked them to remain in sorrow. They shouldn’t make merry. They shouldn’t be happy.
☆☆☆ In case you are still in doubt of the instructions of their father, thinking how could this be? Read Jeremiah 35:7 again ????
“Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any : but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers”.
☆☆☆ Their father even commanded them to dwell in tents and lived as strangers in their own land.
☆☆☆ In other words, they must die as tenants, no houses of their own.
☆☆☆ Beloved, several people today are victims of the traditions of men. Read Colossians 2:8.
☆☆☆ Many of such people have been limited by the gods of their fathers’ houses.
☆☆☆ These are powers that will allow a woman to marry but no children.
☆☆☆ Powers that will make a man to have enough money to rent houses in porch and high class locations but must not build his own house.
☆☆☆ I knew a man in Lagos, Nigeria, years back; who built houses all over Lagos but remained a tenant in another man’s house.
☆☆☆ There are powers that will allow a man go to school but no job.
☆☆☆ Powers that will make a man to struggle and labour so hard but nothing to show for it.
☆☆☆ There are powers that will never allow a man to go far in life. Read Exodus 8:28.
☆☆☆ There are powers that can limit the progress of a man’s life.
☆☆☆ Powers that will tie down a man to his village.
☆☆☆ Powers that will not allow a man to go higher than his parents.
☆☆☆ Powers that can terminate joy at the point of breakthrough.
☆☆☆ I heard the pathetic story of a man who struggled to build a house and had planned to pack into the house by December of that year. Unfortunately, he was buried in that property, same December.
☆☆☆ These powers can make a man to unconsciously reject success, only to begin regretting thereafter.
☆☆☆ Powers that make some people to prefer poverty to prosperity.
☆☆☆ These strange powers of your father’s house can even blindfold you maritally.
☆☆☆ A man can make a wrong choice in marriage and yet be celebrating his error.
PRAYERS
✓✓ Cry to God loud and clear ????
1. Oh you powers of my father’s house, I am not your candidate, lose your hold over my life in Jesus name.
2. By the power backing up the Word of God in Psalm 11:3; Oh God my father, please visit my foundation today and correct every error in Jesus name.
3. Every error of ommission and commission, sponsored by the powers of my father’s house; I escape from your net in Jesus name.
4. I refuse to be manipulated by the powers of my father’s house.
5. Oh you powers of my father’s house, you cannot limit my progress. I shall fulfill my destiny as ordained by God.
6. Oh you powers that see glory ahead of the glory owner, I command spiritual blindness to fall upon you now in Jesus name.
7. The battles that stopped my father, the hardship that truncated the journey of my mother; shall not be passed over to me as my inheritance in Jesus name.
8. My star, Oh my glory; you shall not be brought down at the pick of your shinning in Jesus name.
9. I shall neither be caged nor limited by the forces of darkness operating in the place of my birth.
10. My life shall run in accordance with the plans and purposes of God for me.
11. I am a child of destiny, designed and programmed to succeed.
12. I cannot be limited. I will rule my world in Jesus mighty name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
For somebody out there, reading this prophetic prayer message, I decree, every power of your father’s house, limiting your progress in life, is hereby broken now in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, powers that can stagnate the rising of your star and glory, are hereby destroyed from today in Jesus name.
By the mandate and the authority of God in heaven, I decree, every power that won’t allow you to go higher than your parents, shall lose its influence over your life from today in Jesus name.
Any power or demonic personality, trying to tie you down to your village, is broken now in Jesus name.
Every power that can make a man to prefer bondage to freedom, shall lose its hold upon your life in Jesus name.
I prophesy, as many as are being caged by the traditions of men, you are liberated from today in Jesus name.
Those who have hitherto been operating under closed heavens, as a result of the traditions of men, I decree, your heaven of favour and breakthrough shall the Lord open from today in Jesus name.
Once again I decree, the battles that stopped your forefathers shall not stop you in Jesus name.
In the name of Jesus, I decree, you shall not become a slave of the environment where you are based.
You are delivered and liberated in Jesus name.
Step into your season of joy in the wonderland of the atmosphere of miracles.
You are blessed.
