Subsidy – Local Government Chairman Empower farmers with, Chemical, Spraying machines, fertilizer to boost food production
As part of his administrative measure to harness all vital sectors in his leadership, the executive chairman of Ivo local government, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) has drawn methods and plans to change the status quo in Agricultural practice in the area through provision of large numbers of farming materials including:
- Agriculture Spraying Machines
- All types of fertilisers
- All types of Agricultural chemicals.
This was initiated to enables the increment of evergreen crop productions in the area, where poor subsistence farmers are unable to face challenges.
Ebonyi State as a predominant agrarian State, it behoves on the leadership in the grassroot to live up to demanding expectations to avoid shortage of food production, hence the rapid intervention of the Council Chairman to secure the season.
Thus, the chairman expressed the importance towards improvement of our farming experience and reserves maximum credit and appreciation to No.1 Citizen of the state, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB GGCEHF, the governor, for standing by the farmers across the state in achieving our bearing course.
Speaking in the event, the Vice Chairman, leader of the legislative Council noted that the subsistence farmers in the area can’t afford to forget this memorable day where almost all the farmers came to receive their empowerments and tenders appreciation to the chairman for endearing good heart to commitment in service.
