Local Government Chairman begins mass Cereals crop plantation in Ebonyi
The youngest national award winning chairman on “Infrastructural Developments and Humanitarian services” that emerged from ivo local government area, Ebonyi State, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) has again stepped in practice and development to better agricultural products across communities in order to lessen food inflation in the market.
Recall, soon after his swearing-in, the chairman embarked on state government organised Agricultural Training/skill acquisition where he graduated as a certified Agriculturist on September 22, 2022 at CSS Intergrated Global Farms Limited, Gora in Nasarawa State.
Hence to embarked on agricultural produce to lessen food insufficiency and inflation in our local market atleast for some period of time and also to inculcate in farmers for the need to plant good species cereal crops.
The chairman encouraged farmers in the council to be consistent in agricultural growth as it is the crude oil for Ebonyi State and they should pay maximum concentration to establish themselves in the system.
