As the only member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the ministerial list of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, which was sent by the President to the Senate last Thursday, Wike emphasized that during his tenure as governor from May 2015 to May 2023, he successfully initiated and completed numerous projects to enhance the state’s infrastructure.

He also mentioned that he involved politicians from various political parties to commission these projects.

After his introductory remarks, Senate President Godswill Akpabio acknowledged Wike’s competence and ability to deliver in office, and subsequently asked him to take a bow during the screening process
