Revealed – What FG Intends To Do To Tackle Banditry In North-West
The Federal Government is preparing to introduce a new program called ‘Pulaku Solution’ aimed at addressing the insecurity in the North-West region of Nigeria.
Vice-President Kashim Shetima revealed this plan during a visit to the Kano State Government House, where he spoke to journalists on Sunday.
He emphasized that both kinetic (military) and non-kinetic (non-military) approaches are necessary to resolve the security challenges in the region.
This announcement comes less than two weeks after President Bola Tinubu met with the newly appointed service chiefs and emphasized the need for action.
During the meeting on July 3, which was attended by National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu and the security chiefs, Tinubu assured them of his unwavering support.
According to Ribadu, the NSA, the President expressed his commitment to the service chiefs, while they pledged their loyalty to the President and the Nigerian people.
