PDP risks losing Enugu to Labour Party as court refuses to grant injunction restraining NYSC from appearing before Tribunal

Today, Tuesday July 4,2023, the Federal High Court, Abuja presided over by Justice Inyang Ekwo resumed hearing in the case filed by Peter Mbah against the NYSC in suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/611/2023.

Peter Mbah, represented by Emeka Ozoani SAN, sought to move an application for an interlocutory injunction restraining the NYSC from appearing before the Election Petition Trubunal to give evidence with respect to the forged Certificate of Service No. A808297 presented by Peter Mbah to INEC.

The judge barely waited for the learned SAN to finish speaking before cutting him short to say that he will not entertain any such application.

He told the SAN to forget about the injunction and concentrate on the main suit. The court adjourned the case to July 11, 2023 to hear the preliminary objection challenging the competence of the suit filed by the NYSC.

Peter Mbah With this development, the coast is clear for the NYSC to appear before the Election Petition Trubunal Enugu on 7th July 2023 to tender documents showing that Peter Mbah forged his NYSC discharge certificate.
